RyCE GmbH, based in Vienna, was founded in April 2017 by Domain Group GmbH and DNS Africa Ltd, combining the expertise of both companies. Our headquarters in Austria reflects our focus on security, particularly in the area of data protection.

Our highly available data centre in Vienna hosts the licensed software of our partner DNS Africa Ltd, which also operates the .AFRICA, .DURAN, .JOBURG and .CAPETOWN TLDs with a total of over 2 million domains. The EPP based shared registry system is state of the art and 100% ICANN compliant.

The RyCE team has been involved since the start of the last allocation round for new top-level domains in 2012 and has realised several TLDs in recent years. We are committed to continuous development and active participation in ICANN standards.
